18:1(18-azido) Lyso PA 792692 1-(18-azidooctadec-9Z-enoyl)-2-hydroxy-sn-glycero-3-phosphate (sodium salt)
18:1(18-azido) Lyso PA is a synthetic analog of the bioactive signaling lipid Lysophosphatidic Acid (LPA). The azide moiety readily undergoes highly specific CuAAC or SPAAC with alkyne-tagged molecules. LPA acts as a potent signaling molecule through G-protein coupled receptors (LPARs) to regulate cell proliferation, migration, and survival. Formulators can use this to enrich LPA-binding proteins, identify receptors, or tracking uptake and cellular distribution of LPA with high specificity and minimal steric interference compared to bulky pre-labeled fluorophores.
