27-hydroxycholesterol, 27-sulfate A80211 (Previously 880211) 27-hydroxycholesterol-27-sulfate, sodium salt
27-Hydroxycholesterol, 27-sulfate is a sulfated oxysterol formed when 27-hydroxycholesterol is conjugated on its terminal 27-hydroxyl. Sulfation increases polarity and is a common route for transport and clearance of oxysterols in vivo. This product also has greater aqueous compatibility vs. the non-sulfated oxysterol. Applications for this product range from being used as a Lipidomics standard for mass spectrometry testing to enzyme and pathway studies.
