Cholesterol-PEG2000-DBCO is a lipid that consists of a cholesterol-PEG2000 unit conjugated to a DBCO unit. This lipid incorporates itself into micelles and liposomes which results in this lipid being able to be used for drug delivery research. The DBCO terminal group offers the ability for this probe to be “clickable” and can be conjugated to a wide variety of molecules using click chemistry.
