 DSPE-PEG2000-N-Cyanine 3 is a fluorescently labeled phospholipid featuring a DSPE tail anchored to a Cyanine 3 fluorophore via a PEG spacer. This lipid allows for the fluorescent labeling of liposomes and Lipid Nanoparticles. The PEG2000 spacer can reduce protein adsorption and aggregation while extending circulation time due to its stabilizing properties. The terminal Cyanine 3 group makes this an excellent tool for helping to track intracellular uptake, monitoring biodistribution, and performing fluorescence microscopy studies.
