Cyanine 7.5 NHS is a cyanine dye functionalized with a N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) group that allows it to be attached to an amine containing molecule. By adding this NHS group, it allows this fluorescent probe to be conjugated to lysine groups found on proteins.
