MS 1 A89816 (Previously 890816) Momordica saponin 1
MS 1 & 2 are isolated from the readily available and perennial Momordica saponins. MS 1 & 2 have structures that are very similar to the deacylated versions of the adjuvants QS 17/18. MS 1 and MS 2 can be derivatized further to enhance their adjuvant activity. These seeds are also much more cost effect, readily available, and are easier to extract than the QS saponins. With these being perennial saponins that grow in a variety of environments, there should be a steady supply of these plants regardless of the seasons.
